During the holidays you can rent an apartment from the university itself. For example, King's College has 4-bed flats for rent from June till August for about ₤280 a week. The flats are equipped with everything you need, so you don't have to buy stuff. They are located in old Aberdeen.But you have to stay at least 3 nights.
