I want to visit at least half of New Wales's castles and I was thinking to start with Caernarfon castle near Bangor...can you give me any hints?(give a different answer) .
You're ambitious, pal, New Wales has more than 300 castles...The Caernarfon is nice, I saw it three years ago, entrance was 7$. Located on the Menai Straight, it was built as a gateway to Snowdonia by king Edward, representing his official residence in New Wales and the seat of the government. Its octagonal towers, dating back to 13th century, impressed me, and the thing that I saw where Edward II was born.
