What's the link between the Titanic and the City Hall in Belfast? I heard some rumours about that...(give a different answer) .
The north corner of the City Hall has a statue of Sir Eduard Harland on display, the constructor of the ill-fated ship that sank in 1912. Moreover, it hosts a monument to commemorate the disaster. This guy, born in Yorkshire, was the one to set up Belfst's Harland and Wolff shipyards, and to erect the twin cranes Samson and Goliath. Queen Victoria's statue can also be admired in front of the Town hall. Admission's as free as a bird.
