Touring the wild Trossachs, Callander

Posted 1 year ago by loti in response to avatar beatrice's question: I want to wander through the remote Trossachs' peaks and forests. Do you know any visitor offices in Callander? (give a different answer) .

Just in the Ancaster Square, there's the Trossachs Center and Rob Roy company organizing tours. Get in touch with them at robroy@aillst.ossian.net. They'll take you see the two lochs: Loch Lomond and Katrine, and explore every inch of the wildland. Sir Walter Scott wrote his "Lady of the Lake" in these ares during 1810, and today a small Victorian steamer wears his name.
