King's College Chapel in Cambridge

Posted 1 year ago by avatar djdan in response to aoife's question: If I don't have time to visit of the colleges in Cambridge, which one do you recommend? (give a different answer) .

My favourite was the King's College Chapel with its exquisite Gothic architecture (that makes it comparable to the one at Chartres), original stained-glass windows and the great wooden screen. Don't miss seeing the organ, the choir stalls and the wonderful chapel exhibition (for which you'll have to pay ₤3.50) with paintings and costumes, manuscripts ans books, scale-models and tools.
