The Bodnant garden, Conway

Posted 1 year ago by adonis in response to avatar jessica's question: Where exactly is the Bodnant garden near Conway located? and what do they grow there? my favorite are the camellias (give a different answer) .

It's actually 13 km away from Conway, above the river wearing the eponymous name, against the Snowdonia Mountains. My wife conducted a research there 5 years ago, and I remember she was enchanted by the magnolias, rhododendrons and bluebell woods. The garden contains a 180 tunneled walk, with golden flowers meeting above your head. Lord Aberconway still lives in the manor among exotic shrubs and charges 7.50 at the gate.
