I was pleased by the atmosphere at The Salisbury. It's a Georgian house with a beautiful location not far from the center of Edinburgh. Because my family was with me while I stayed there I had to rent 2 double rooms, each one costing £50. Salisbury is more like a hotel because it's very elegant and full of facilities. What a hotel does not have is the back garden of this guesthouse. Address: 45 Salisbury Rd
