bigduck's question: I would like to know the name of a 5-star hotel in Edinburgh(give a different answer) .
Hotel Scotsman is in the Historic North Bridge, close to the train station (this in case you come to Edinburgh by train & the distance matters to you). Rooms are full of electronics... TV, computer, DVD, etc and the hotel features a nice health club. The tariff per night (in USA dollars) is $230. Tip: get a room at a high floor to admire the whole area which is completely wonderful.
