Festivals celebrated in Edinburgh

In August, when the Edinburgh International Festival fills the city with music, drama and dance, attracting first-ranked protagonists. Yet, in my view the Fringe is better, because anyone who has the desire is free to perform in beer halls, school gyms, parks or wherever...It's the amateur replica of Edinburgh International, and gathers over 650 artists. The Military Tattoo is worth seeing too, showcasing gymnasts and pipe-drum music on the castle's esplanade. Celebrations stretch Aug-Sept, fees range 21-65$.
