Some friends told me Maes-Y-Neuadd of Harlechis the best spot to rent a room if you wanna enjoy Snowdonia National Park and a lot other touristic targets nearby. is it indeed a good jumping-off spot?(give a different answer) .
Yes, I'd say so, as it's set inside Snowdonia National Park, and you can board on the "Steam and Cuisine" train with Ffestiniog Railway just 5 minutes from the lodge. You'll eat royally while the 14th-century steam train will take you through the Snowdonia mountains all the way to the mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog and back. You'll cross 3 towns in the meantime, that are not reachable by car, and visit the Maes-Y-Neuadd castle. talk to the manor's owner at 44-1766-780-200.
