I'm a columnist and I'm supposed to write a documentary on the Roman wall in Hexham. What's its story? course, I'll get there soon and deepen my documentation...(give a different answer) .
The wall was constructed over 1,800 years ago at the order of Hadrian Emperor...it's a huge thing, which united the efforts of almost two thousand soldiers and servants. The wall marked the northern border of the Roman empire, that stretched 2,500 miles from what is now Iraq. The best preserved piece lies in Hexham and 10 miles long, north of Lake District.
