Dylan Thomas 's (Wales biggest poet) Museum, Laugharne

Posted 1 year ago by munoz in response to avatar casper's question: Is there any visitor attraction in the God-forgotten town of Laugharne? (give a different answer) .

The most important poet of Wales, Dylan Thomas, lived there in a boathouse...maybe you didn't hear of his "Under Milk Wood', but I'm sure you've seen the movie made in 1971 after his work, with Elizabeth Taylor and Peter O'Toole. His boathouse contains everything as he left them, manuscripts, papers and furnishings and the locals turned the house in a shrine which they visit regularly.
