There's the Notting Hill Carnival, which is great, lots of fun and I've heard it's one of the biggest in Europe. It's an outdoor event in August with music and dance performances and all the stuff that's typical of carnivals. The theme is Carribean London. You can find out more at www.londoncarnival.co.uk
