Royal celebrations in London

Posted 1 year ago by avatar hans in response to shumi's question: I want to see some of those pomp events organized in the honor of the queen in London. When should I drop in? (give a different answer) .

The queen's birthday, of course, displays all the pomp you can imagine, when the queen's horses and men depart from Buckingham palace and march on the streets. This is officially known as the Trooping of the Colour and is held on a Saturday in early June. Then you can stay for the Royal Ascot Races later in June, when during 4 days it is possible to attend 24 races.
