I know there's the Medicine Bar, where one of my friends always goes because she likes the music. She took me there once and I remember it's in Islington, on 181 Upper St and indeed, they had all sorts of music, like jazz, funk, hip-hop etc. It seemed like a very nice place, but not really my style.
