actually there's one of the few museums in the world devoted to this sport in London... near the Twickenham Stadium! (for more details about the location, here's a hint: www.rfu.com) you can relive the highlights of old matches in the vidoe theatre and then take a tour of the grounds (of course, in the days where there is no match).
