Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London's huge Hindu Temple

Posted 1 year ago by avatar friendship in response to adonis's question: Is there an Indian Temple somewhere near London? I'd like to take my family to a little trip around the city this week-end. any help? (give a different answer) .

I think you heard about the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London's huge Hindu Temple, located at 105-119 Brentfield Rd, Neasden NW10. That's an amazingly impressive place, built from over 5000 tonnes of marble and limestone, or so I've heard. I'm sure it's worth a visit. for more details, see www.mandir.org. As far as I know, the admission is free, only for the exhibition you should pay £2. enjoy your trip!
