I think that they are open from 9 to 5.30 on weekdays, of course. But the main, bigger post offices have also a short program on Saturdays, when they keep open till noon. I once had to send a very important letter to my friend in the US and I was sure that the post office closed at 6 so when i got there it was too late. :((( Luckily the same thing won't happen to you!
