London Tube

Posted 1 year ago by avatar djdan in response to pinpen's question: How much is a single ticket on the tube in London? (give a different answer) .

It depends on the zone your are travelling to. There are 6 concentric zones in London and the price of the ticket goes up with the number of zones. To make it more clear, for zone 1 a ticket is ₤1.60, for zones 1 and 2 ₤1.90, for 3 zones it's ₤2.20 and so on. For all 6 zones including Heathrow it's ₤3.60. If you're gonna travel a lot with the tube, better buy a travel pass; it'll save you money.
