Manchester Art Gallery

There's the new refurbished Manchester Art Gallery where you can see a lot, from post 18th century art with works by Canaletto, Constable, Turner and Gauguin to 20th century British art, including paintings by Lucien Freud, Hockney and Spencer. You should also not miss the Gallery of Craft and Design, with all kinds of toys and dolls' houses. The museum is on Mosley street and it's free to visit.
