I'll pass through Monmouthshire for a day and I want to visit the most interesting targets for a non-european tourist. Suggestions?(give a different answer) .
It's a pity Tintern Abbey is roofless and in ruin now, but you can still go to catch a glimpse of this church constructed by Cistercian monks in 1131. The medieval Gothic architecture and its setting in the forested Wye valley made it a place loved by artists and poets, where Wordsworth for example came for inspiration.
