No one knows who built Stonehenge and why. But can you tell me at least what are the hypotheses? Thank you(give a different answer) .
Too many theories have come out over the years: it was said that the strange complex of stones, some weighing up to 50 tons, were the creation of Merlin, King Arthur or even aliens. Anyway, it's pretty certain the rocks were used for ceremonies honoring the sun, and assembled 4,000 years ago. 1000 men were needed to move such rock giants. Other researchers argue the Celtic druids took hold of the monument, although it was proved the rocks had been brought there before Iron Age. Fee-6$.
