St. Andrews Cathedral in Wells

Posted 1 year ago by adonis in response to avatar kheng's question: How does the cathedral in Wells look like on the outside and on the inside? (give a different answer) .

It's small-sized, made to fit to the smallest city of England: Wells. It was erected in the 8th century, but the west facade has been restored recently. Personally, I liked the 365 life-size figures that are carved on the outside, speaking about all Biblical stories, as well as the clock, second oldest in England. The interior is Gothic, with "scissor arches" and two twin towers. No tax at the entrance.
